Communication and Memory
This research line encompasses studies and investigations that articulate the fields of information, heritage, collective and group memory production in their discursive, identity, political, cultural and historical specificities to contemporary communicational practices in their interpersonal and mediatized dimensions. The works developed in this line are interested in symbolic, discursive, and political disputes held in the communicational field around the memory phenomena.
Media and Sensitivities
This line includes studies and investigations that articulate the dynamics of communication processes in their technical, affective, ethical and aesthetic dimensions with arts and media products. The works developed in this research line are interested in the historical aspects of sensitivity and the transformations that occur from changes in the ways of feeling and perceiving. The meaning production processes as well as the sensitive matrix that constitutes these phenomena are the core of the studies in this line.
