Integration with graduation

brasil 1 espanha

The integration of PPGCOM with graduation occurs through three modalities: teaching internship, Scientific Initiation and university extension.

Teaching internship

According to the General Regulations for Stricto Sensu Graduate Programs at UFRB (Resolution 24/ 2018), the teaching activity may be carried out in undergraduate or Lato Sensu graduate programs, at the discretion of the collegiate or supervisor. The student must participate in the planning of teaching activities and academic guidance, in agreement with the professor responsible for the course's subject, computing 25% of the total workload provided for in the subject. At the end of the semester, the master's student must present the report of their activities, which will be evaluated by the person in charge of the discipline and presented to the supervisor.

Scientific research

All PPGCOM-UFRB professors teach and guide undergraduate students in Scientific Initiation (CI) projects, TCCs and internships. In addition, all professors in the program are coordinators or members of research groups, so that in all activities carried out by the groups − reading, training, workshops, seminars and development of research projects − there is a close relationship between the students of the undergraduate, graduate students and professors.

University Extension

PPGCOM professors develop a series of actions in the identity territories in which they work, so that a good part of the research groups linked to the program also develop extension projects that involve undergraduate students. In addition, periodically, the Pro-Rectory of Extension (PROEXT) of UFRB launches extension notices that aim to encourage the involvement of students in carrying out these activities.
